PH & Louis Poulsen partnered in '25-'26; continued until '67. 3/2 Academy was part of 30 three-shade lights (metal/glass). Logarithmic spiral provided even light. Glass diffused to cut glare & shadows. 3/2 had 30cm top & 2/2 lower shades. Released in 2000.

Light concept
The louvre is 100% glare-free, based on a reflective three-shade system that directs light downwards. The top shade's white painted lower surface guides it. The two bottom opal glass shades provide a large, glare-free light surface, making best use of the light source for comfort & function. The opal glass is shiny on the outside and matt on the inside.

• Top shade: Spun aluminium painted in green with a white rolled edge. The inside of the top shade is white. Middle and lower shade are mouth-blown glass.
